Membership

CABRI was established as an international organisation in 2009, following the ratification of the International Agreement by our six founding member countries: Ghana, Kenya, Mali, Rwanda, Senegal and South Africa.

Our diverse membership base includes 17 African countries that formally acceded to the International Agreement establishing the organisation. We currently work with over 35 countries - with more than 20 countries actively participating in our activities annually.

Our strategic imperatives are carefully compiled from a wide range of sources, including bilateral discussions with our member countries, our meetings, events, and other channels of communication. Through open dialogue and collaboration with our member countries, we are able to harvest valuable insights from diverse perspectives, ensuring a thorough understanding of the needs of our member countries, their evolving priorities and challenges in Public Financial Management (PFM) reform and subsequently, tailor specific and effective support.

Membership to CABRI is open to all African countries.
